Bill Heydman was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. He graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a B.A. degree in History and Economics in 1985. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1988, and began his law practice in Kinsley, Kansas. He was a partner with Hope, Mills, Bolin, Collins, Ramsey & Heydman in Garden City, Kansas, and with Heydman Kliewer, LLP, also in Garden City, Kansas. He began his solo practice, Heydman Law, LLC in June of 2014, and his wife, Alicia, is his legal assistant. Bill has extensive experience in all areas of family law, and he has mediated over 500 child custody cases. Bill and Alicia have four children, and Western Kansas has been their home for the past 26 years.
