T. Brian Lowder - Bowling Green, KY

Brian, a Kentucky native, was born in Lexington and grew up in Bowling Green. Following high school, he attended Western Kentucky University, where he played football and was a starting member of the 2002 National Championship team. Brian earned WKU’s Scholar Athlete of the Year Award and was a First Team Academic All-American in 2002. In 2003, he graduated summa cum laude with a major in Political Science and Sociology and a minor in Criminology. With a perfect 4.0 GPA, Brian received the Scholar of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences accolade along with the prestigious Ogdens Trustees’ Award. Following college, Brian attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where he was a member of the Brandeis Law Journal and finished in the top of his class. During law school, Brian enjoyed clerkships with two prominent Louisville law firms. Upon graduation, he returned to Bowling Green to begin his practice with the law firm of Bell, Orr, Ayers, & Moore. Brian practiced in a variety of areas during his association with BOAM, including domestic and family law, personal injury, insurance defense, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, employment law and criminal defense.

In 2009, Brian became a solo practitioner and established The Law Office of T. Brian Lowder, where he practiced in the areas of personal injury, criminal law, domestic and family, and general litigation. In the fall of 2013, Brian and Matt formed Lowder & McGill, with the intention of focusing primarily on serious personal injury cases. Today, the firm continues to pursue the common goal of aggressive representation of their clients’ interests and has recovered millions of dollars on their behalf. Brian is a trial lawyer and extremely familiar with the courtroom. He has tried numerous bench and jury trials to verdict. Although his primary practice area is the representation of plaintiffs in serious injury cases, Brian continues to represent clients in the realm of criminal defense and small businesses in commercial litigation. He has experience representing a client base ranging from hard working, low income earners to professional athletes and entertainers in a variety of litigation. Regardless of who the client is, they receive the same aggressive and candid representation, with their interests at the forefront.

Brian is married to Beth Lowder and they have two children, Conor and Collins. In addition to practicing law, Brian enjoys coaching his children in sports, investing in real estate, trying to learn to play golf and spending time outdoors. He currently serves on the WKU Hilltopper Foundation Executive Board, the Bowling Green-Warren County Historic Preservation Board and the WKU W-Club Board.
