Overview
Avery is an associate in the firm’s Covington office who joined in 2025. His practice focuses on an array of issues, including general litigation, drafting corporate documents, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and advising clients on entity formation and governance matters.
Avery earned his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, where he graduated magnum cum laude and was published by the Northern Kentucky Law Review. During law school, he gained practical experience as a law clerk with Hemmer, DeFrank, Wessels PLLC. He received his B.A. from Centre College with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Creative Writing.
He is admitted to practice in Kentucky and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.
Aside from work, Avery enjoys spending his time watching movies and playing games with his friends, family, and two cats. He cheers on each of Cincinnati’s sports teams, including the Reds, Bengals, and Cyclones.
