Heather Crabbe - Covington, KY

Heather graduated cum laude from Western Kentucky University, earning a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Economics and Human Resource Management. After graduation, she attended Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law where she was a Kentucky Legal Education Opportunity (KLEO) scholar. Heather quickly discovered that she had a passion for using her skills to help people in vulnerable situations. This led her to begin her legal career as a public defender, where she spent six years representing indigent clients charged with anything from misdemeanor theft to capital murder. The next part of her career was spent as an Assistant Dean at her alma mater law school. In this role, she was able to guide the next generation of lawyers who would be tasked with improving our society. Heather continues to work in higher education and regularly writes for various publications.

Crabbe Legal Counsel, PLLC, joined Russell & Ireland Law Group in an "of counsel" capacity in January of 2020. Heather attended law school with Adam, Kristin, and Joseph and was excited to join forces with a group of attorneys who are also well-known for providing high-quality legal services. Heather's practice areas include plaintiff's personal injury cases (automobile collisions, wrongful death, medical malpractice, slip and fall accidents, etc.), plaintiff's civil rights violations, and criminal defense.

Heather has been involved with several community-based organizations, including having served as a mentor for the War Memorial Boys and Girls Club in Bowling Green, KY, and as a Big Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of Greater Cincinnati. She was also the attorney member for the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Council Advisory Board.
