While in law school, he served as a clerk for Judge Ann Bailey Smith, who presides over the 30th Judicial Circuit, Division 13 in Louisville, Kentucky, and gained experience as a law clerk at Abell Attorneys. Upon graduating in 2021, Oliver joined Abell Attorneys as an associate attorney.

His primary practice focuses on insurance defense, contract disputes, landlord-tenant matters (including evictions), employment law, and handling mechanics liens.
