Overview
Ed Massey is a Northern Kentucky native living in Boone County with his wife, Anita. He is a proud father of three daughters and grandfather to two grandchildren. Ed graduated from Lloyd Memorial High School in 1985 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Police Administration, cum laude, from Eastern Kentucky University in 1989, followed by a Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1992. He has been practicing law in the Tri-State area for over 30 years.
Admitted to practice in all courts of Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin, Ed is also licensed in multiple U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. His legal practice covers areas such as Bankruptcy, Social Security, Education, Military, Workers' Compensation, Criminal, Domestic, and Personal Injury Law.
Beyond law, Ed has been active in education since 1989, serving on the Boone County Board of Education from 1996 to 2018. He is the former Past President of both the Kentucky and National School Boards Associations and a Director on the National PTA Board. From 2018 to 2022, Ed represented Kentucky House District 66, serving as Judiciary Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
In his spare time, Ed enjoys traveling with his family, aiming to visit all 50 states and seven continents. He is also a NASCAR fan and attends First Baptist Church in Burlington.
