Overview
A Kentucky native, Erin C. S. Izzo has served as a litigator across the Commonwealth for more than 20 years. She has represented clients from trial through appeal in state and federal courts, and state agencies in matters concerning personal injury, professional malpractice, employment litigation, and workers’ compensation, among other areas. Erin has presented many seminars to attorneys, paralegals, and Human Resources representatives on employment law matters, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Civil Rights Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Act.
Erin is well-known for her expertise as an Arbitrator, having served as a neutral in matters involving complex injuries, medical malpractice, nursing home/hospital malpractice, employment disputes, and contractual disputes. Outside of arbitration, Erin has also served as a Mediator in numerous types of cases, including but not limited to mass tort, personal injury, coal mining, premises liability, contracts, and wrongful death, to name a few.
In her free time, Erin volunteers by working with students at the high school, college, and law school levels on mock trial competitions. As a classically trained violinist, Erin has had the privilege to rock on stage several times with the band Disturbed in their cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s Sound of Silence.
