Holly R. Iaccarino - Lexington, KY

Holly Iaccarino’s practice at Kessinger Benvenuti PLLC primarily focuses on employment law and white-collar defense, including both civil and criminal litigation in federal courts, conducting internal investigations, defending § 1983 actions, and helping clients navigate and resolve a variety of health care fraud and abuse matters – whether civil, criminal, regulatory, or appellate. In doing so, Holly advises and defends both individual and corporate clients facing government investigations, False Claims Act litigation, disputes with administrative agencies, and issues involving the Controlled Substances Act. She also currently serves as a Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Holly began her legal career with prestigious judicial clerkships – first with the Honorable Victor J. Wolski on the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., where she worked on cases involving federal regulatory and administrative law and government contracts; and then with the Honorable Gregory F. Van Tatenhove, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky, where she handled a wide range of cases involving Constitutional law, criminal law, complex civil procedure, employment law, and health care fraud. She then continued her legal career working for over 9 years in private practice in Lexington, Kentucky prior to joining Kessinger Benvenuti PLLC.

Before law school, Holly worked for the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., serving Ohio’s second Congressional district in 2005-2007. From 2018 through 2020, she served as a Governor-appointed member of Kentucky’s Executive Branch Ethics Commission. Holly also has taught as an adjunct professor at Asbury University for over 10 years.

Outside the office, Holly enjoys spending time with her family on their farm in Woodford County and being active in her local community. A lifelong horse enthusiast, Holly also has extensive experience in training horses, teaching riding lessons and participating in equestrian competitions.
