Overview

Currently Miss Johnson serves as a Trial Commissioner for the Kentucky Bar Association appointed by the Kentucky Supreme Court to hear and decide cases brought by the Kentucky Bar Association against attorneys accused of ethical violations. This is a voluntary position. Miss Johnson is active at Christ Church Cathedral and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Lexington.

Previously Miss Johnson has held the following community board appointments and positions:

-President, Fayette County Bar Association

-Chrysalis House Board Member

-God's Pantry Board Member

-Chair, Family Law Section-Fayette County Bar Association

-Bluegrass Trust for Historic Preservation, Board Member

-Chair, Preview Party Bluegrass Trust for Historic Preservation

-Appointed by the Kentucky Cabinet Secretary for Families and Children to Legislative Workgroup to investigate Adult and Child Protective Services and Child Fatality Cases for children in Foster Care.

-Appointed to Court Improvement Project for Court Designated Workers.

-Committee Member for Fayette Circuit Court Committee establishing Kid's Time and Tween Time programs for children of Divorcing Parents in Fayette County.
