Overview

Heather Humble is a native of Lexington, Kentucky, where she attended the University of Kentucky. Driven by her long-standing goal of becoming an attorney, she went on to attend the University of Dayton School of Law.

Following law school, Heather began her legal career with the Department of Public Advocacy before joining the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in 2016. Over the next eight years, she served as a prosecutor in the 16th, 30th, and 53th Judicial Circuits. During her tenure, she gained extensive trial experience handling a broad range of cases, including general criminal prosecutions, white-collar crime, narcotics, robbery, burglary, violent assaults, domestic violence, murder, and sexually based offenses.

Continuing her commitment to public service, Heather later accepted a position with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, where she worked to protect children from abuse and neglect.

In 2025, Heather joined Sewell & Neal, bringing with her a wealth of courtroom experience, a passion for advocacy, and a strong dedication to achieving results for her clients.

In her free time, Heather loves traveling, spending time with her loved ones, and relaxing with her little dog, Henry.
