Overview

Shelby is from Somerset, Kentucky. She went to Western Kentucky University where she received her bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology. Afterward she attended Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She graduated and passed the bar exam in 2021. Shelby then returned to Somerset where she completed a judicial clerkship. She moved to Louisville in 2022 to work as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney where she gained courtroom and trial experience. She transitioned to civil law in the fall of 2024 when she joined Sewell and Neal.

Outside of the office Shelby enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, baking, and running.
