Overview
Ty Smith has dedicated his career to representing victims of medical negligence and other personal injury. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Indiana. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, he moved to Louisville to begin his career after graduating law school at the University of Kentucky in 2005. For the past ten years he has successfully concluded many cases on behalf of injured individuals by settlement, jury trial, and appeal. He has substantial experience in the courtroom and at the negotiation table.
Mr. Smith is proud to join Morgan & Morgan's unwavering commitment to client service. He focuses his practice on medical negligence and healthcare litigation in pursuit of his goal to help improve the quality of healthcare.
Outside of his busy law practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and running the annual Derby Festival Mini-Marathon. He is also a supporter of StageOne Family Theatre, Legal Aid Society, and Supplies Over Seas.
