Peyton Holmes Porter Griffee serves as an attorney at the Sweat & Griffee Law Firm, in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where he is a partner. Mr. Griffee and his wife Caitlin are longtime residents of Mount Washington, where he was born and raised. After completing his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor at the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law.

Mr. Griffee participated in the National Moot Court Team and was an Ordered Liberty fellow while studying law. While working as a law clerk for Louisville's Zoppoth Law firm and later for attorney General Daniel Cameron's civil division, he received exposure to several types of civil litigation.

After finishing law school, Mr. Griffee gained vital experience as a prosecutor in Elizabethtown’s Hardin County Attorney's Office, where he presided over both jury and bench trials. He is also a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve, where he serves as an Officer. He can put his legal training to use for his country in this position. Additionally, Mr. Griffee serves in the Kentucky State House of Representatives for both Bullitt and Hardin counties.
