Overview
Rhonda Hatfield-Jeffers obtained her BA from The University of Kentucky in 1995 and obtained her Juris Doctor from Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville, in 1999. She was admitted to the practice of law in Kentucky in 1999, admitted to the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Kentucky in 2001, the U.S. District Court Western District of Kentucky in 2001 and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 2023.
Her entire career has been focused on advocating for those who have been injured by the negligence of others. She has represented individuals injured in car wrecks, truck wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, boating accidents, product liability cases, medical malpractice and other accidents and/or injuries caused by the carelessness of others for over 23 years. Rhonda served as a member of the Kentucky Justice Association's Executive Committee from 2018-2022. She was President of the Kentucky Justice Association in 2021 and continues to serve on the Board of Governors as a Past President.
Rhonda served on the Kentucky Bar Associations' Attorney Advertising Committee from 2014-2019. She has served as a member of the Kentucky Character and Fitness Committee from 2021 to the present. Rhonda was named a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100- Civil Plaintiff in 2019 and continues to be a member. She is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Rhonda is a Life Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Foundation. She is one of the select attorneys listed in The Million Dollar Verdicts Section of the Kentucky Trial Court Review as having more than one-million-dollar verdict.
