Born in Bossier City, Louisiana, Zachary Hire graduated top of his class as valedictorian from Parkway High School. He then attended Louisiana Tech University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Following graduation from Louisiana Tech University, Mr. Hire attended LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he was a Dean’s scholar, graduating with a Juris Doctorate and a Diploma in Comparative Law.
During his time at LSU Law, Mr. Hire served as a summer associate at a large civil defense law firm focusing largely in the areas of insurance defense and oil & gas law. Later, he interned with the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s Office where he worked under the chief of trials and assisted in the defense of a 2nd Degree Homicide trial. It was during this time that Mr. Hire found his passion for the courtroom and criminal defense.
Following graduation from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Mr. Hire was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar and began his career in criminal defense at the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s Office before joining Damico & Stockstill Attorneys in 2024.
Mr. Hire’s philosophy revolves around unwavering dedication to justice and the rights of every individual. Mr. Hire is a staunch believer in the presumption of innocence and the principle that every person deserves a fair trial, regardless of the accusations they face.
