Attorney Information

Overview

Brad Matthews graduated from Louisiana State University Law School in 2006. Brad joined the firm of Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys as an Associate. He is licensed in both Louisiana and Alabama. He practices in the U. S. District Eastern, Western and Middle Courts of Louisiana where he serves everyday people who have been injured in various accidents such as auto accidents, truck wrecks, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, motor vehicle defects and many more. The personal injuries range from sprains, burns, broken bones, and other injuries. Brad has had many clients from various areas in Louisiana including but not limited to Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Denham Springs, and Zachary.

Before joining Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, Brad was a law clerk for a year with the Honorable Guy P. Holdridge who presides over the 23rd Judicial District Court. Brad was actively involved with all areas of civil trials. He assisted Honorable Judge Holdridge with numerous trials and became very familiar with the judicial system. Brad then went on to work with a defense firm where he learned the 'tricks of the trade.' The areas of practice included but were not limited to personal injury, animal bites, assault and battery, aviation accidents, defamation and privacy, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, property damage, railroad accidents, slip and fall, and wrongful death cases. With this knowledge on his side and YOURS , he can better prepare and negotiate your case.

Brad is married to Laura Lynne Matthews; and enjoys golf, hunting and fishing.
