At The Townsley Law Firm, Jordyn Goody and her team work relentlessly to achieve results for their clients.
Jordyn was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She attended St. Louis High School, and went on to Xavier University of Louisiana, where she was a scholarship tennis player and ITA student-athlete. In college, Jordyn majored in English and Philosophy.
Her love for writing eventually led her to pursue a law degree at Louisiana State University Law School, where she could use her skills to help people. Throughout law school, Jordyn maintained various positions as a law clerk, research assistant, and teaching assistant.
Upon graduating in 2018, she spent a year clerking for the chief judge of the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal, Hon. Ulysses Gene Thibodeaux.
Following her prestigious clerkship, Jordyn began working for The Townsley Law Firm, where she has been since 2019. At TLF, Jordyn and her team look forward to handling challenging matters and delivering successful results for her clients, who inspire her to show up each day and take on any issue as if it were her own.
Jordyn is involved in the SWLA Bar Association and the Martinet Society. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys being creative with hobbies like cooking, drawing, and hunting.
Jordyn looks forward to serving medical malpractice victims, especially those who have suffered abuse in nursing homes, hospitals, long term acute care centers, and assisted living facilities.
She has also successfully litigated a wide variety of practice areas, including legal malpractice, auto collisions, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. Jordyn enjoys handling complex appellate matters to secure her clients’ results.
