To date, Phillip J. "PJ" Mitchell, has tried over forty cases to conclusion and is licensed to practice in several States and Federal Court systems.

Prior to founding Mitchell & West, LLC, Mr. Mitchell was an Assistant Public Defender for the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office as well as, worked for a well-known private insurance defense firm.

Mr. Mitchell is active and generous with his time within the local community. He strongly believes in leadership and community services. He has demonstrated his beliefs by establishing a yearly event, the Mitchell & West, LLC. Holiday Family Fun Day 5K Race, which occurs on the first Saturday in the month of December of each year.

Attorney Spencer D. West

Spencer D. West is a partner, shareholder and co-founder of Mitchell & West, LLC. Mr. West then gained invaluable experience in civil litigation through his positions at some of the most prominent law firms in Broward County.

As a veteran of the U.S. Army, whatever the issue his clients are facing, Mr. West has proven himself to be a tenacious and competent attorney who always pursues the most favorable outcomes possible for those he serves.

A 1997 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. West attended Suffolk University Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2001. Along with practicing before all Florida courts, he is also admitted to practice before all federal courts in Florida as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.
