Worse attorney ever, he will take your money and not finish your case. He is all talk with no results. It was as if he was working for the other side. Don’t walk, run from this guy. Extremely disappointed in him and how he quit just before trial.I did all the work getting proof for my case, several trips the court house. He even brought up false information to the judge that had nothing to do with my deed. In my opinion this attorney should review his ethics before he takes another case. Don’t be scammed like I was.

Your worst nightmare is to pay a Lawyer up front 10’s of thousands of dollars who says they will handle your situation, then back out of basically everything and claims to be able to justify hours…what a joke, well he is as bad a lawyer is Biden is a president….this man will steal your money, leave you high and dry and smile the whole time doing it. Does nothing he says, makes excuses that are not valid, has zero actual current knowledge, has his help do all the work, these are no college divorced women writing your legal papers.

Very unprofessional,do not stay in contact or update you, never able to speak with Ransdell over the phone or in the office, everything he said he said he would do to help he did not help, one of his secretaries is very rude and lacks knowledge of what’s going on,paid them in full and they didn’t do any work. Overall this firm doesn’t deserve a half of star. You will come out better representing yourself if you depend on this firm to help you.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
