Overview
Maryland Workers’ Compensation & Personal Injury Attorney
Erin H. Snyder is the Managing Partner at Cohen, Snyder & Eisenberg P.A. As a second generation personal injury attorney, Erin focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, representing individuals across the state who are dealing with denied claims, difficult employers, and insurance companies looking to minimize payouts.
Known online as @injuredworkerattorney, Erin has built a statewide presence by educating injured workers on how the system actually works—and where most people go wrong. Her content reaches thousands of Maryland workers who are trying to avoid costly mistakes before it’s too late.
Erin is widely recognized for taking on complex and high-risk cases, including claims involving preexisting conditions, disputed causation, and prior denials—cases many attorneys won’t touch. She is known for her no-nonsense approach—she tells clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear—and backs it up with relentless advocacy against insurance companies.
Before entering private practice, Erin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William C. Mulford, II in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County and later as an Assistant State’s Attorney, where she prosecuted hundreds of cases in both District and Circuit Courts. That courtroom experience directly informs how she builds and litigates every case today.
In addition to representing clients, Erin is frequently invited to speak on workers’ compensation and auto accident panels and legal forums, where she shares insight on case strategy, medical documentation, and how to navigate the system effectively.
She is licensed in Maryland and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association.
Outside the office, Erin is deeply involved in her local community. She serves as President of the local Elementary School PTA and Secretary of Broadneck Area Youth Sports. When she’s not practicing law, you’ll find her on the sidelines—cheering on her children at games and practices, usually with her dogs close by.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
