Mr. Scherr represents local, regional, and national commercial, industrial, and residential developers and builders, homeowner and condominium associations, commercial landlords and tenants, hotel owners, and local and regional businesses and professionals.
Mr. Scherr has been selected for inclusion in the publication The Best Lawyers in America, as one of the leading lawyers in Maryland in the area of Real Estate Law, with special recognition in litigation. Mr. Scherr is listed in the Maryland Super Lawyers 2007, 2008 2009 and 2010. Mr. Scherr served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association. He is a past President of Hillel of Greater Baltimore, Vice-Chairman of the Real Estate Committee of the Associated Jewish Community Federation, and President of the Associated Jewish Charities of Baltimore.
Mr. Scherr has published articles in professional references concerning real estate transactions. He also obtained approval for a 430 acre planned unit development, the first PUD permitted by Baltimore County.
