Consulted Attorney 2018-2021Ronald Bergman was disbarred by consent on December 14, 2018, for failing to safe-keep client funds in a trust, failing to maintain adequate records for his attorney trust account, failing to timely respond to the Bar Counsel, knowingly making false statements to Bar Counsel, committing a criminal act that reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness and fitness as an attorney and engaging in conduct involving dishonest, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation that is prejudicial to the administration of justice. Note: his disbarment was the result of him stealing funds from 29 of his clients in Montgomery County. In addition, as of 02/24/2021, Ronald Bergman is being charged on two accounts in Prince Georges County Circuit Court for Embezzlement -Fraudulent misappropriation by fiduciary and Theft Scheme of property or services with a value of $100,000 or more. Bottom-line, he embezzled the net proceeds from the judicial sale of a marital home in P.G County with the possibility of allegedly committing real-estate fraud. Trial date is scheduled for 08/11/2021.
