Overview

Mark Futrovsky concentrates his practice in civil, business and insurance litigation and general corporate law.

Mr. Futrovsky has been involved in a wide range of litigation matters in both federal and state courts, as well as in proceedings before state administrative tribunals and private arbitrations. His practice includes: the representation of individual and corporate clients in civil actions asserting various federal, state, and common law claims, including litigating insurance coverage disputes, trust and will contests, business tort cases, intellectual property disputes and a wide variety of contract and common law tort actions.

He serves as general counsel for many of the firm's corporate clients and his services include day-to-day counseling regarding routine legal issues facing the daily operation of a business including; general contract review, formations of various business entities, financing, licensing, leasing and other corporate matters.

Mr. Futrovsky is a member of the American Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association and Maryland State Bar Association. Mr. Futrovsky is involved as a volunteer in various local civic organizations and has served on the board of a number of local charities.

Mr. Futrovsky received his undergraduate degree (B.S., 1979) from the University of Maryland and his law degree (J.D., 1982) from the University of Baltimore Law School. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia and before the United States District Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Futrovsky has also practiced before various other state and federal courts. Mr. Futrovsky is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by his peers as a Super Lawyer in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Mark is actively involved as a board of member of a number of local charities and civic organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, Suburban Hospital/ Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Makom for Group Homes where he regularly enjoys calling bingo for the group home residents. Recently Mark volunteered (including a trip to Ukraine in May, 2022) with Operation White Stork - an organization that is assisting in evacuating Ukrainian refugees and distributing lifesaving I-FAK kits (individual first aid kits) to Ukraine's armed forces.
