Rebecca S. Trevillian - Severn, MD

Rebecca “Becky” S. Trevillian graduated from George Mason University School of Law in 2004, was admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland in December 2004. She has over 20 years of experience practicing in family law, which started when she clerked for Judge Karen H. Abrams in the Circuit Court of St. Mary’s County for two years.

Since 2006, Becky has been solely focusing her practice on family and domestic law matters, including custody, child support, and divorce. While Becky has a reputation as an aggressive and competent litigator in the courtroom and she is well-respected by all members of the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court bench, as well as retired members, her ultimate goal is to assist her clients in resolving their disputes for the best possible outcome to avoid the uncertain results associated with trial.

To further her goals of assisting parties in resolving their disputes amicable, Becky has been a court-certified and private mediator since 2014, as well as a Best Interest Attorney appointed by the Court to represent children who are caught in the middle of a contentious divorce.

In 2023, Becky became a Parenting Coordinator (both private and court-ordered) to assist parents in communicating and co-parenting to avoid placing their children in the middle of their conflict. Becky’s goal in these matters is to help parents who have a tumultuous relationship learn how their conflict negatively affects their children and assist them in changing their behavior for the benefit of their children.

Becky’s goal is to assist her clients – whether divorce, mediation, or Parenting Coordination clients – in obtaining the best possible result for their family.

When she is not working, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband (and law partner Bill Trevillian Jr.) and her four children, either relaxing at home, at the beach, or on the water.
