Attorney Information
Overview
Christina “Tina” Duddy is a highly experienced and sought-after union and employment lawyer. She has represented public sector clients, such as the Boston Teachers Union, as well as private sector clients such as Local 513 of the R.W.D.S.U., for 30 plus years.
Tina was born in Bangor, Maine. Her grandfather was an “early unionist”, and her father was a federal employee union worker and Shop Steward. As a result of their influence, Tina knew that she wanted to work with unions from a very early age. As a young woman growing up in the 1970s, however, Tina was discouraged from attending law school and urged to pursue a “safer, more reasonable” career. Tina attended the University of Maine at Orono, studying Food and Nutrition, and she graduated in 1977. Still wanting to pursue a legal career, Tina sought admission at the evening division of the New England School of Law. While attending law school she received Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts and Commercial Paper. In 1985, she was invited to serve on the Law Review and served as a Case and Note Editor during the following year. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1987 with the highest cumulative GPA in the evening division and received the Amos L. Taylor Award for scholastic excellence. She also received the Minna Connors Reeves Award for highest female ranking student.
