Overview
Jonathan L. Driscoll, Esq. has worked in the public housing industry for over a decade. A 2012 graduate of New England Law | Boston, Jonathan brings a rich and diverse legal background to the firm. Jonathan has worked in the areas of public and private housing, criminal law, estate planning, investigations, and business organization services. While working for the Boston Housing Authority, Jonathan litigated Section 8 termination hearings and also assisted in corporate by-law restructurings.
Jonathan has also worked for the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General in Boston, Massachusetts and the Law Offices of Larry Conway in San Diego, California. In 2010, Jonathan completed a program in human rights and international law through the National University of Ireland at Galway in Galway, Ireland. Jonathan is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Jonathan has focused his practice of law on matters pertaining to landlord/tenant law, lease review, lease enforcement and evictions, reasonable accomodation, fair housing/discrimination, interpretation and application of Code of Massachusetts Regulations, rent recertification, rent calculation (Determination of Household Income), State Sanitary Code enforcement, administrative policy, drafting, intergovernmental agency memoranda of understanding, transfers, Tenant Selection, resident and social services, Pets/Assistance Animals, grievances, Local Tenant Organizations, Public Records requests, Language Access Plans, and Confidentiality.
