Overview
Kelly A. Schwartzis a graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude) and Pomona College (B.A., cum laude). Kelly was a member of the Boston College Law Review and published two articles concerning the well-being of children. The summer after her first year of law school, Kelly interned for The Honorable Spencer M. Kagan (Ret.) at the Middlesex Probate & Family Court. In her third year of law school, Kelly argued a case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and obtained a successful published decision.
Kelly joined Fitch in 2018. As an associate at Fitch, Kelly will work in all areas of the firm's family law practice, including divorce, child custody, alimony, asset division, child support, and preparing and negotiating pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Prior to joining Fitch, Kelly was a litigation associate with a large Boston firm, where she also gained experience in probate litigation.
Kelly is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Women's Bar Association, and Trusts and Estates Consortium.
