Overview
Prior to joining TKCK in June 2022, Nicholas Francis was employed for nearly 15 years by a small Connecticut based insurance defense firm where his practice consisted exclusively of representing employers, self-insureds, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims at all hearing levels. In addition, he has appeared numerous times before the Compensation Review Board and the Connecticut Appellate Court. The first two decades of his career was focused on plaintiff’s personal injury work including multiple jury trials with favorable verdicts, along with representing claimants at all phases of workers’ compensation claims.
Nick is a 1986 graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a 1989 graduate of Western New England College School of Law with his Juris Doctorate degree. He has spent many years coaching youth football, hockey and baseball and was a member of board of directors for various social clubs.
Nick is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
