Overview

Robert Hopkins is a shareholder of Jeffrey T. Angley, P.C., the real estate litigation practice at Phillips & Angley. Robbie joined the firm as an associate in February 2014. Robbie’s focus and practice areas are concentrated on zoning, land use, real estate, and telecommunications, counseling real estate developers, private landowners, neighbors and abutters, and corporate clients throughout Massachusetts. Robbie practices primarily before the Massachusetts Land Court and Superior Court, and has argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Robbie also appears before municipal zoning and planning boards. Robbie is one of the co-chairs of the Litigation Section of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, and sits on its Board of Directors. Robbie is also the co-chair of the Zoning/Land Use Subcommittee of the Real Estate and Condemnation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section. Robbie has been awarded the distinction of being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star and was the recipient of the Real Estate Bar Association's Emerging Leader Award in 2019.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a law clerk to the Hon. Judith C. Cutler, Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Land Court. Mr. Hopkins received a J.D., cum laude, in 2012 from New England Law | Boston, and a B.A. in Political Science, with a Philosophy minor, from the University of Kentucky, in 2008.
