Overview
Mr. Imbriglio's practice focuses on all aspects of civil litigation and providing outside general counsel services to businesses across various industries, including healthcare and medical devices, renewable energy, manufacturing, and multiple franchise businesses. Attorney Imbriglio represents commercial clients in all stages of litigation and focuses his litigation practice on high stakes construction accident and construction defect claims, wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims, and varying business and commercial disputes, including breach of contract, real estate and condominium disputes, and employment related claims. In addition to his extensive litigation experience, Mr. Imbriglio has provided general counsel services to businesses ranging from small start-ups to mature corporations operating internationally with thousands of employees. He advises clients on commercial transactions, including providing contract review and drafting services, and helping clients develop and update contract templates. Mr. Imbriglio has substantial experience advising clients on data privacy and cybersecurity compliance and the implementation of information technology policies. As a result of his strong business acumen and 15+ years of litigation experience, Attorney Imbriglio excels at identifying risk and developing cost effective and efficient strategies to minimize risk while helping clients reach their business goals.
Representative Matters:
- Negotiated and drafted multiple sales and service agreements (ranging in value from seven to eight figures) relating to cancer treatment systems on behalf of a medical device manufacturer.
- Represented a condo board in Boston regarding a claim brought by a unit owner seeking relief pursuant to G.L. c. 183A, Section 17. The matter was resolved following a bench trial in Suffolk Superior Court and resulted in a favorable outcome whereby the Court accepted the condo board's valuation of the subject unit.
- Negotiated and drafted an inverter supply contract valued at over $100 million on behalf of an energy storage system provider.
- Led renewable energy start-up through an IT security gap assessment.
- Advised and directed renewable energy start-up through the investigation of a social engineering IT security incident resulting in the recovery of over $500,000 in stolen funds.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a property management client in a $10 million premises liability claim.
- Obtained a defense judgment in a $1.2 million breach of contract claim on behalf of a food service franchisor following a five day bench trial in Norfolk Superior Court.
