Overview

Attorney Michael F. Cuddy established his law practice in Dedham in 1988. Attorney Cuddy has tried cases before juries in district courts and superior courts of Massachusetts. He has tried will contests in the probate courts. His general practice consists of elder law, estate planning, probate administration and real estate. Attorney Cuddy has been appointed as a Guardian ad Litem by judges in the probate courts to represent clients involving issues of guardianship and conservatorship. Since 1992, Attorney Cuddy has been a member of the adjunct faculty at the Massachusetts School of Law. At MSL, he has taught courses in litigation practice, research and writing, and moot court.

Prior to practicing law, Attorney Cuddy worked in many of Boston's largest hospitals. He has worked in research in biochemistry at Children's Hospital, clinical chemistry at Tufts Medical Center, and in rehabilitation therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 1984, Attorney Cuddy received the Trustees Award from MGH.

Michael F. Cuddy was born in Roslindale, Massachusetts and he graduated from Boston Latin School. He is a graduate of Boston College, B.S. and New England School of Law, J.D., magna cum laude. He was the recipient of the Hornbook Scholar Award in 1987. Attorney Cuddy is licensed to practice in Massachusetts , the First District Court for the district of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Norfolk County Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
