Overview

Laura Fedele Riccio was born in Norwood, Massachusetts and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1996. Ms. Riccio was educated at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (B.A. 1992), Western New England University School of Law (J.D. 1996) and Boston University School of Law (LL.M., Taxation 2003). In 2020, she was certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). Ms. Riccio originally joined the firm of Fedele and Murray, P.C., in Norwood, as a law clerk in 1994 and has continued with the firm as an attorney since 1996.

Attorney Riccio concentrates her practice in the fields of estate planning and administration, probate, taxation, and real estate. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Estate Planning Council, the Norfolk County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association (REBA), and was the President of the former Norfolk and Plymouth County Estate and Business Planning Council for the 2006-07 and the 2019-20 council years. Attorney Riccio has been a member of the Probate Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) since 2017 and presently is the Chair of the Council for the council years 2025-27 (with the Co-Chair, Attorney Marlee Cowan or Rubin Rudman). She previously was the Vice-Chair to the prior Chair, Jennifer Flanagan of Mirick O’Connell) for the 2023-25 council years. Ms. Riccio also is presently a volunteer member of the MBA initiated committee working to produce technical amendments to the legislation comprising the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code (MUPC) [M.G.L. Ch. 190B] which was enacted in 2012.

In addition to being admitted to the Massachusetts bar, Attorney Riccio is admitted to the bars of the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. She also possesses a Massachusetts real estate broker’s license and occasionally buys and sells real estate with her father doing business as “Fedele & Riccio Realty”. Ms. Riccio volunteers her time raising funds and spreading awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Cancer Society. She also has served as an Alumni Admissions Counselor for her alma mater, UMass Amherst. She is married to an attorney, and the eldest of her two sons is continuing the family tradition and pursuing his own legal education.
