Brian P. Barrett is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. He was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1993 and has been nominated by his peers as a Super Lawyer for many years. Attorney Barrett practices real estate, is a member of the firm's litigation department in addition to serving as head of the estate planning and probate administration and business law department. Brian represents commercial lenders in real estate asset based lending. Brian recently represented the owner in the acquisition and development of a 40,000 square foot seafood processing facility. The building was the first new seafood processing facility in the past twenty years in the Raymond Flynn Marine Industrial Park in Boston. Brian has represented commercial lenders in major development projects in Eastern Massachusetts. Brian Barrett is a knowledgeable estate planner and provides guidance to families planning for Massachusetts estate tax and probate court avoidance. Brian represents Personal Representatives and Trustees of Trusts in estate administration and in probate disputes. A native of Peabody, Brian has been an is active member in many community affairs. He has served on the Peabody Zoning Board of Appeals for many years, when he resided there. He has served as and recently was an Assistant City Solicitor for former Mayor Michael Bonfanti. Brian resides in Boxford with his wife and family. He takes great pride in his four children.
