Overview
Attorney Papuga has been a dedicated member of the firm since graduating high school in 2018. While pursuing her undergraduate education, she worked part-time at the firm, beginning as a receptionist before advancing to legal assistant and later serving as a law clerk throughout law school. After successfully passing the July 2025 Massachusetts Bar Examination, she was sworn in as an attorney in November 2025 and now serves as an Associate Attorney with the firm.
As a lifelong resident of Western Massachusetts, Attorney Papuga is deeply connected to the local community and passionate about helping individuals and families navigate difficult legal matters. Her path to becoming an attorney was shaped by determination, perseverance, and personal experience. Becoming a mother at the age of 21 further motivated her to complete both her undergraduate and legal education on schedule while balancing the responsibilities of parenthood.
In addition to her professional experience in family law, Attorney Papuga understands firsthand the emotional and practical challenges that can arise in custody and family court matters. Her personal experience with custodial disputes allows her to approach clients with empathy, compassion, and a genuine understanding of the frustrations many individuals face during family law proceedings.
Through her years with the firm, Attorney Papuga has developed extensive experience working closely with clients through a wide range of family law matters and is committed to providing thoughtful, diligent, and compassionate representation.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
