Attorney Information
Overview
Regina Snow Mandl, head of The Wagner Law Group's Trusts & Estates and Family Law teams, has over 30 years' experience specializing in family law, estate planning and administration, and probate litigation. The focus of her career has been to strive for excellence in the delivery of personal law services to individuals and families. While fully prepared to go to court when necessary, Regina believes that most matters can be resolved through negotiation, or a form of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation or conciliation. Regina will counsel clients in these processes, and she is also a qualified mediator and conciliator. She has been selected annually to the prestigious Super Lawyers list since 2012.
Family Law
Regina's practice covers a wide range of family law matters including: contested and uncontested divorces, custody disputes, removal cases, modifications, contempt actions, restraining orders, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, guardianships, and conservatorships. Regina has a particular knowledge of inherited property cases in divorce, and has handled divorce cases involving family assets of $25,000,000 and more.
Estate Planning and Administration
Regina offers clients a comprehensive estate plan, including: wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, health care proxies, HIPAA releases, living wills and declaration of homestead. When the time comes, Regina will efficiently guide her clients through the process of probating the estate.
Probate and Family Law Litigation
Regina will counsel clients who engage in mediation and collaborative law. However, she understands that this does not always work. When this happens and alternative dispute resolution is not viable, Regina represents clients in contested family law and probate litigation matters, including divorces, child custody and removal cases, will contests, claims against the estate, guardianships, conservatorships, and petitions to partition real estate.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.
How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
