Brian Finnerty has 40 years of experience in the field of civil litigation. His area of practice has been wide ranging including motor vehicle negligence, product liability, medical malpractice dental malpractice, wrongful death, construction accidents, M.G.L. c 93A/176D, contract disputes, indemnification, subrogation, inadequate security, premises liability, institutional child abuse, municipal liability, and employment matters. He has advocated on behalf of national, international corporations as well as state entities including the MBTA and MWRA.
He began his career in the Middlesex Superior Court as a Deputy Assistant Clerk before entering private practice. Mr. Finnerty was a co-owner, partner, and associate at Finnerty & Finnerty, PC an insurance defense firm specializing in medical malpractice, general liability and products liability cases. Mr. Finnerty broadened his experience by representing plaintiffs in wrongful death, brain injury, spinal injury, and coverage disputes with insurance carriers. His practice today includes representing individuals as well as corporate clients in all aspects of civil litigation.
