Overview
Catherine M. Shuler joined Anselmi Mierzejewski Ruth & Sowle P.C. in 2024 as part of the law clerk program. She continued to work with the firm as a law clerk until she passed the Universal Bar Exam in 2025. She now works at the firm as an associate attorney and works on numerous first-party and third-party litigation cases.
Ms. Shuler earned her Bachelors of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing from Saginaw Valley State University in 2022 and her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law in 2025.
During law school, Ms. Shuler began to refine her legal skills through participation in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. She also served as Articles Editor for the International Law Review, where her paper, Japan’s Gender Disparity: How Enhancing Enforcement of Japan’s Power Harassment Prevention Act Can Advance Gender Parity in the Japanese Workforce, was published in Volume 33 of the journal. Additionally, Ms. Shuler served as the Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Dela legal fraternity at Michigan State University College of Law.
