Overview
Mr. Lange graduated from the Detroit College of Law (cum laude) in 1976 and Michigan State University in 1972.
Craig Lange has represented private and public sector employers in labor and employment-related matters since 1977. He has substantial, wide-ranging experience in labor and employment litigation, at both the administrative and judicial levels. He regularly acts as chief spokesperson at the collective bargaining table on behalf of clients and advises employers on a wide variety of matters, including discipline and discharge, contract interpretation and legislative compliance. He has advocated on behalf of public sector employers in enumerable Act 312 and fact finding proceedings. Mr. Lange has served more than fourteen years as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, teaching negotiation theory and practice. He is also a frequent lecturer and contributor. He lectures for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the American Arbitration Association, the Michigan Public Employment Labor Relations Association, the Michigan Negotiator's Association, and the National Public Employment Labor Relations Association.
Mr. Lange is past-Chairman of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and the Troy Foundation for Educational Excellence. He is past-President of the Troy Rotary Club. Mr. Lange currently serves as Chairman of a Panel of the Attorney Disciplinary Board. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Labor and Employment Law and Public Corporation Law Sections).
