Consulted Law firm 2025JEFF reviewed my case and spent almost 2 hours on the phone with me, knowing he wasn't taking my case. He is a warm complete professional, who genuinely wanted to help me as he showed me and told me things I needed to do. He offered me a conversation after the judge rules to further help me, knowing I was in a bind. His compassion was off the scale. I hope when my case is out of the Court room he can help me further down the way. I am willing to pay him for his invaluable knowledge. most other attorneys only look at my case as a dollar payday, where my injuries are going to be for a lifetime. Thank you, Jeff, for all you told me and if I can repay you I will. I would love to hire this guy because he gave me his knowledge -trade ($$) and wanted nothing for it. His heart is in his business and would help me and never think about payment and was thinking more about helping first and payment last, but I doubt I will see any bill from him. Thank you, you are a Christian who cares about people. God Bless you!! I don't even know Jeff and he was given to me from the Lord!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
