Hired Law firm 2021-2024Mark represented me with excellent advice. His energy and experience our second to none. I would recommend him to anyone without a doubt.

Hired Law firm 2021I was being investigated by the Homeland Security and the United States Attorneys office. I called a local attorney who recommended Mark. To say that his representation was excellent is a vast understatement. Not only was I not convicted, Mark stopped me from being charged altogether. Every bit of advice he gave me turned out to be correct although at times I had reservations about his advice. Despite my occasional reservations, I, nevertheless, followed his advice. Had I not done so, I believe I would have been charged. The result he achieved was beyond my wildest expectations. Finally, he was extremely conscientious and responsive to my concerns and anxiety. I cannot thank him enough and would recommend him to anyone.

Hired Law firm 2018-2021Mark Kriger did a terrific job representing me in a case from beginning to end. Mark worked tirelessly on my behalf and clearly his efforts were the reason I was given a probationary sentence and not incarceration. Mark wrote a detailed and well thought out sentencing report and that along with his statements in front of the judge played a huge role in getting me a much better then expected outcome. You will not find an attorney is this area with more expertise in federal cases. I owe Mark a great debt of gratitude for the hard work he put into my case and the result that was achieved.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
