Attorney Information
Overview
Tiffany DeBruin grew up in a small town in Ohio. She attended Malone University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2003. She went on to complete her law degree at Capital University Law School in 2006. After practicing law in Ohio for five years, Tiffany moved to Michigan with her husband. In 2011, she founded DeBruin Law, PLLC, and has been running her solo practice ever since. She enjoys the work she does and finds real purpose in helping her clients.
Approach To Criminal Defense
Tiffany builds strong defense strategies for each and every one of her clients. She works hard to protect their rights and focus on the person behind the case. When clients cannot appear in person in Lansing, she communicates clearly with them and takes the lead in court. She often works with parents of college students and clients from out of town. Her goal is to handle everything thoroughly and with as little stress as possible, so her clients can move forward with their lives.
Philosophy And Personal Commitment
Tiffany is committed to fiercely advocating for every client with respect and integrity. She listens carefully to her clients and takes time to explain their options. She treats every case seriously and works hard to protect the rights of every person she represents. Her passion for defense work ties closely to the values she learned growing up in Ohio. Tiffany takes pride in standing up for people when they need help the most.
Client Success Stories
Tiffany has helped many clients reach favorable outcomes. Some examples of her success stories include:
- Dismissal of embezzlement charges involving over $100,000
- Reduction of a carrying concealed weapon charge to a minor misdemeanor
- Full dismissal of malicious destruction of property charges
- Dismissal of assault with intent to do great bodily harm charges before probable cause conference
