Hired Law firm 2019-2022I would not recommend him ! Very lazy and unprofessional !

Hired Law firm 2020-2023Burg was hired for a Racial Discrimination case in Shelby Twp against Bob's Discount Furniture. Bob's has been sued all over the country for Racial Discrimination and Sexual Harassment. I handed the witnesses and evidence to Burg on a silver platter. But he made a deal with opposing counsel to throw the case. There are multiple victims in this case. Do not hire him, he will gaslight you the entire time thinking he is working for you but in reality it was for the other side. He did not request Discovery, provide witness statements, nothing!!! My next step is to file an attorney grievance and hire a legal malpractice attorney.

Hired Law firm 1995-2000Jeffrey is the best attorney I could have asked for. He helped me in a difficult and lengthy case and was attentive and highly effective. He is a talented and caring professional who I still think of often with appreciation twenty years after my case. I highly recommend him.

Hired Law firm 2016-2018Excellent efficient Attorney. He will win your case. I won my unemployment for 20 weeks plus got 6 grand. He let me pay him only if I won, how cool is that! Great guy!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
