Attorney Information

Overview

Alex earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, graduating summa cum laude, from American Military University while serving on active duty in the United States Army. He served as an infantryman and paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, deploying to Afghanistan in 2019. Throughout his military service, he established a track record of disciplined execution and leadership. Alex made the Commandant’s List by graduating in the top 10 of his class at the US Army's Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.

Following his military service, Alex attended Stetson University College of Law on a merit scholarship, where he earned both his Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA). During law school, he gained valuable, practical experience in corporate structure, compliance, and brand protection through an internship at Raymond James Financial and a sports law externship with IRONMAN. Committed to supporting the veteran community, he also volunteers as an ambassador with Service to School, mentoring service members and veterans as they transition into higher education and law school.

At the firm, Alex focuses his practice on estate planning, business matters, real estate transactions, and probate and trust administration. He also heads the firm’s initiative in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) matters, leveraging his unique background and sports industry experience to help high school and collegiate athletes, managers, and representatives safely navigate contracts, corporate formation, and long-term asset protection.

Alex takes a logical, pragmatic, and relatable approach to counseling clients. He is dedicated to providing straightforward guidance focused on achieving his clients’ goals.

Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young boys. He is also an avid reader and enjoys golfing and playing video games.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
