Ms. Burger returned to Michigan and established KB Law Office and has since expanded her area of practice to include criminal and civil cases. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science before furthering her education by graduating from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California and obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree.
