Overview
Tyler J. Stewart joined DeMent and Marquardt, PLC in 2019 and became a partner at the firm in 2022. He has nearly 10 years’ experience as an estate planning attorney practicing in Kalamazoo. Tyler focuses his practice on estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, probate, real estate, and business succession planning. He is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and is a recipient of the Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program developed by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in cooperation with the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Tyler is a speaker and regular contributor to the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition to his work as an attorney, he is an assistant collegiate basketball coach for the Kalamazoo College Hornets women’s basketball team. Tyler is currently serving as a member of the board of directors for MRC Industries in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is also a member of the Alumni Association Engagement Board of Kalamazoo College. Tyler resides in Kalamazoo with his wife, Kate, and his dog. In his free time, Tyler enjoys playing basketball, cycling and mountain biking, and traveling up north to Beaver Island, Michigan.
