Heather Grace - Southfield, MI

Heather is an associate attorney who works in the firm’s appellate department and is passionate about getting justice for personal injury clients. She uses her creative problem-solving skills and legal writing expertise to advocate for those who’ve suffered serious vehicle collisions or other life-altering events.

Heather is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University where she obtained her B.A. in History and Political Science with Honors. She then attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School on a full-ride scholarship where she received multiple awards for academic achievement and excellence in legal research and writing. Heather was also a member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Moot Court Honors Board, Best Oralist in Round at the Pace Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, and won First Place Team Overall at the Whittier Law School Juvenile Law Moot Court Competition. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Over the course of her 15-plus year legal career, Heather has taught law as an adjunct professor, clerked for a Michigan Court of Appeals Judge, and served in the Prehearing Division of the Michigan Court of Appeals, in addition to serving on MAACS (the Michigan Assigned Appellate Counsel System).

In her spare time, Heather enjoys walking in the woods near her house, reading, and catching an occasional football game.
