Overview

John Ottenwess, who goes by Jack to his friends and colleagues, joined Ottenwess Law in 2024 as an associate attorney. Jack’s work ranges from civil litigation, including professional liability and medical malpractice, to healthcare law, by developing forward-thinking initiatives.

At his former firm in Chicago, Jack was given a vast caseload and as a result, he provides experience on the defense side of litigation, but also provides experience in commercial litigation, insurance liability, and compliance with metropolitan regulations. Additionally, Jack worked as a federal research extern with the National Council on Disability and prior to his substantive legal experiences, worked overseas in Shanghai, China.
