Greg is recognized for his ability to formulate down to earth, practical solutions for his client's complex problems. Real Estate. Greg is a Real Property Law Specialist. He represents individuals and businesses in residential and commercial real estate settings. He is experienced in all areas of real estate.

Experienced Estate Planner. Greg has substantial experience in planning the estates of his clients. He has worked with all sizes of estates ranging from large, multi-million dollar estates to more modest estates.

Business and Corporate Law. In his business law practice, Greg provides advice as outside general counsel to privately held businesses. He assists his clients in contracts, negotiation, employment issues, mergers, acquisitions and succession planning.

Trial and Arbitration. He is a seasoned trial attorney having litigated significant disputes involving probate, real estate and business matters.

Education and Specialization. J. D. cum laude. Greg earned his law degree, J.D. cum laude, from the Hamline University School of Law in 1977. He pursued his undergraduate education in economics at the University of Minnesota , where he was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree. Greg is a Real Property Law Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Minnesota Law & Politics magazine has named Greg a Super Lawyer, a designation reserved for only 5 percent of the total lawyers in the state.

Professional History. Greg was granted a license to practice law in 1977. He was admitted to practice before the Minnesota State Courts and the United States District Court of Minnesota in 1977. Greg is an active member of the Minnesota and Hennepin County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Real Estate Legislative Committee where he reviews and drafts legislation for action by the Minnesota legislature. He has worked as an attorney for the Minnesota Supreme Court and served as the Director of the Supreme Court Judicial Planning Committee. He has also served as counsel to a community foundation as well as general counsel for an estate planning company. Greg has now been engaged in private practice since 1983.

Personal. A Minnesota native, Greg was born in northern Minnesota and raised on the shores of Mille Lacs Lake. He moved to the Twin Cities to complete his education and made his home in the Twin City area. He is married and is the proud father of three children. His children have now grown to adulthood, graduated from college and are successfully making their way in the world. Greg's pet charity is the MS Society for which he is an active fundraiser. An Eagle Scout himself, he still enjoys working with the Boy Scouts. He enjoys traveling, bicycling, reading and the outdoors.
