Benjamin E. Alberty - Eagan, MN

Ben Alberty graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2014 and has spent the majority of his career representing individuals. He is a former Teamster and spent 12 years working in a union shop before attending law school. Ben grew up in the Twins Cities and has lived here most of his life except for some time in Wisconsin and California.

Ben’s practice is almost entirely focused on mesothelioma and asbestos litigation, along with other personal injury cases. Ben has focused on representing injured persons against insurance companies and corporate defendants nearly his entire career.

Ben formerly specialized in cases brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, also known as the FELA, a suite of laws written to protect and compensate railroad workers. His experience representing railroad workers taught him exactly how important aggressive representation is to an injured person. Ben fully understands each person’s case is the most important case to that person and he treats them that way. He represented his clients in state and federal courts across the country, including appellate work in the second highest court in the United States. He has a track record of quality representation and satisfied clients. Ben is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the United States District Court for Minnesota.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys all types of physical activities and is training for a triathlon. He also recently started playing soccer and enjoys running and biking around the metro area. Ben also has a passion for travelling to the remote areas of the world and plans to take a trip to hike the mountains in Tajikistan in 2023.
