Ms. Sauro also serves as an arbitrator.
Ms. Sauro graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1991 after earning a Bachelor of Arts and graduating with honors from the University of Wyoming in 1988. Currently, she is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association including the organization’s Solo/Small Firm Section where she serves on the council.
Originally admitted to practice in Colorado and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, Ms. Sauro is now admitted to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona (inactive) and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and the District of Wisconsin. She regularly writes and lectures for organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association, and the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
Recent notable cases showcasing the strategic success of her representation include an industrial fire loss resulting in a $26,000,000 appraisal award, a tornado loss resulting in a $654,000 increase in payment to her client, a defense verdict for a wrongly accused seller of a property, a partner theft case resulting in a half million dollar theft award and a jury verdict for a resort for wind damage in excess of $600,000. In arbitration, Ms. Sauro has obtained six figure and recission awards for her clients. Whether in arbitration or trial, she is prepared to take a case to appraisal, arbitration or trial when necessary to fairly compensate or defend her clients.
